How many people can you accommodate?

The Silver Spur can accommodate up to 350 guests.

Do you offer indoor and outdoor ceremony locations?

The Silver Spur has both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations. There are several areas outdoors that you may choose from. In case of inclement weather, a stage is available indoors in front of our huge, two-story windows with a beautiful view of the Black Hills.   

How many hours does the rental fee include?

The Silver Spur rentals begin at 9:00AM and per county ordinance, all guests must vacate by midnight.

How much is the deposit, when is it due?

The deposit depends on the rental fee. To reserve your date, the deposit must be paid and contract signed. The remainder of the payment is due 60 days prior to your event. 

Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party?

The Silver Spur has have a gorgeous bridal suite and grooms room available. You will have private entry and access to the parking lot, access to a shower, mini fridge and bar area, smart TV, WiFi and plenty of outlets, hooks, and makeup stations to get ready at! We even have a salon chair and full length mirrors for your makeup and hair artists to use.  

Can we have our rehearsal dinner here? What about a morning-after mimosa brunch?

Absolutely! You can rent the space the day prior or day after may be available for rent at half that day’s rental price with the exception of Saturday – our most coveted day of the week for bookings. 

What's the cancellation policy?

The deposit required to reserve your date is non-refundable.

Do you have an in-house caterer or a list of "preferred" caterers, or do I need to provide my own?

We offer a selection of trusted and dependable vendors for our clients to choose from; however, we understand the importance of making your event unique, so the choice is ultimately up to you! We have a large prep kitchen available at no additional cost.

What is your alcohol policy?

Our preferred vendor is The Branding Iron Steak House & Social Club who is licensed to serve beer, wine and liquor.

Are we allowed to bring in our own decorations?

Absolutely. We have some restrictions to protect the integrity of the venue, and these will be provided at the venue tour or upon request.

Is there a separate place for cocktail hour?

We recommend using our outdoor covered patio for cocktail hour, with a beautiful view of the Black Hills, livestock, and sunset. Cocktail tables or whiskey barrels are available for an additional cost. The bar has indoor/outdoor service access and we have a large roll-top door to allow guests inside once the dinner begins. 

Is there parking on site?

Yes, we have a large parking lot and in case of overflow, there is plenty of flat pasture land to utilize.
